Meadow diamonds in a shawl ...

Couldn't resist but cast on with the yarn that Robin gifted me last Wednesday. You remember that I am on a buy no yarn in 2013 commitment ... but a gift may be accepted!!! Roll in Meadow from The Fibre Company ... color Bergamot ... one skein should do a lovely shawl. I am loving the feel and drape of it and on the Addi Natura needles it is wonderful to whip through the rows. Take a peek and tell me what you think! Will keep filling in the ravelry notes just like I did before ... for perhaps this way what I do can help others beyond the studio borders.

I can't quite tell yet how long it will end up being but I imagine it will block in width to about 12" ... not bad. Have used about 25/100g. The color did not photograph correctly for me. It has a bit more of a brick color undertone!

This is being worked on the bias. Haven't decided if I will play with the set up on the second half ... maybe ... maybe not.

The decrease slope to make it a shawl vs. the original triangular version which I worked up in the madelinetosh Prairie.
