Revisiting old friends ...

... soon with new yarn ... thought I'd put it up again for old times sake. A cashmere cowl doesn't get old ... I found two photos and will add a couple more from the stack of cashmere cowls that are my winter staples.

Recently acquired stash of Miss Babs Soujourn should add to uniform and multicolored hues and the ribbing pattern is just enough to keep you engaged.

US#6 (4.0 mm) 16" circular needle ... an addi turbo needle or any of its incarnations ... bamboo (natura) ... lace ... or the new sock rockets should do the trick.

Cast on 110 sts using the German Twisted Cast-on ... work in rib pattern until you have enough left to bind of ... bind off knitwise on the wrong side ... nice and loosely ... put away the ends.

Oh ... the ribbing pattern ... 3 3 1 2 2 3 4 4 ... (K3, P3, K1, P2, K2, P3, K4, P4)* ... repeat * five times around.

Oh yes ... cast-on ... work one row ... join for working in the round ... before the second round you can check again that the bottom edge is not twisted ... work on.

I'll be casting one on tomorrow ... only to decide which color I will choose ... perhaps I'll just close my eyes and pick ... or by name ... or by votes ... will let you know ... Mystic River ... Biker Chic (traded that one with Robin already ... will see what I get in exchange tomorrow) ... Coffee Break ... Spread Like Wildfire ...

Pondering the choices ... I have a feeling it will be Coffee Break!
